It has all ready been a year and as you see the water is crystal clear no uv no chem.

if you have a good system rock's look great in the bottom, i didnt have luck with them, but a relative has had his ond for 10 yrs with rocks in the bottom and it looks great.

Nice pond, can putting rocks and pebbles over an EPDM liner cause any damage? I'd like to fill my pond with them like you did yours.

just make sure to use something round no sharpe edges river rock or pebbles

The fish are the focal point in my pond, NOT rocks. I do have rocks around the edges where the fish are not.

UV is NOT necesary if you have everything else in order.
