Hello all,

I have been starting to hook everything up for the year and discovered that the clarifier that I only used for three month last year no longer works. It is a Jebao 55w, it came with a broken bulb so I ordered two replacements. I plugged it in and no glow from the view hole so I tried the extra bulb figuring the bulb may have got knocked around in the garage over the winter and still nothing.

Anyone have any advice on a clarifier that will/should last at least two-three seasons or longer. I have a 1200 gallon pond.

Thanks

Jason

altho it may be the ballast...some U.Vs have a contact switch where the cap screws down...make sure that tab isnt bent or flattened where it cant make the contact. its usually just a copper tab contact located in little slot in the threads.
