I have a 500 gal. pond with a red slider turtle and several goldfish and hundreds of Mosquito fish.

I plan to be gone for about 2 months this summer. It will be hot while I am gone. I will leave the pump on 24/7 and will have someone to check on it weekly and clean the filter, but what about feeding? I've been feeding once a day. Should I start changing to every other day, then every two days, etc., until I get it down to once a week?

I think the Turtle, it's name is Slick, will hibernate, and the fish could get by with the plant material and alge but not sure. Is there any kind of automatic feeding sytem out there? I have pack rats and birds as well.

Thanks for any info.
