Hi all

I currently have a pond that is approx 4.5m x 4.3m and in a freeform shape.

I want to raise the pond so it is about 80cm high (I have a baby son and want to make it safer for when he's active!)

I'm toying with different ideas but wondering about using sleepers vertically, having 80cm out of the ground and 40cm concreted in and putting metal straps round the inside to hold them all together

Does anyone know if this would be strong enough to hold the weight of the water back?

it's more the depth of a pond where you need to be concerned about weight and pressures
