Thanks for sharing. I watched all 3 parts and learned a few things I didn't know. Andrews Koi is about 75 miles from me. I think it is worth a trip to see his place.

Lots of good info. I can apply some of the routine to my goldfish too as I don't have koi. That is exactly the way I have been adding the clean water to my pond. Hang the hose high by the waterfall and use a pump on the bottom to suck out the water. I adjust the hose to the same amt that comes out from the pump on the bottom. Course I don't do this everyday like he does. I have seen no ill effects from doing this at all :fish:

He sounds like he is not like all the other people at pond shops that tell you what ever they feel that day. I was reading his bio... "Andy Moo is the founding member of US district Shingokai. He judged the All Japan Koi Show twice (1998 and 2008) and while competing in the Japan show for the first time in 2008, Andy was awarded 2nd, 1st, two Sakura prizes (best in size :fish: and one best in class."

Very informative especially to a newbie like me....

I also watched all 3. Did he say he fed his koi tuna?. I'm gonna have to try feeding them the citrus. I'm looking forward to spring already
