Hi from very cold upstate NY. After I rehomed my pond goldfish last year, guppies and red minnows...I planned on just water gardens for the native frogs. Well now my cousin has decided that she doesn't want her aquarium anymore,so today heading over there to pick that up. I'll keep the guppies( yes, ones she asked for) inside until Spring. They did great in the outdoor ponds. Then place an ad to re-home them as Summer goes on. At our ages trying to simplify. Sometimes our ideas are great, but reality steps in to kick you in the butt

That is very nice of you to 'foster care' her fish. You can advertise the aquarium and tell 'em you'll throw in a show shovel! Do you need any assistance on how to transport her fish? Just ask, many of us have experience moving fish in the winter.
