watch the eclipse tonight

Full eclipse, moon in its real close cycle, harvest moon. It is huge right now.

We have nothing but dry forecasted here and down the road. Almost record heat, Phoenix 105 geez hopefully cooler by the time we get there.

With all the clouds i don't think i will see any thing .I wonder if it will get even bright tonight with the overcast skies .

Wish I could see the eclipse. It's at an ideal time, too. Unfortunately we're expecting cloud cover for the rest of the day/night. As far as it being close, I never notice a difference.

@JBtheExplorer - I got up in the middle of the night to witness it the last time we had a blood moon. We had cloud cover then too, but it was still visible intermittently. And since this is a superman on top of it, I think it will be hard to miss! It really is worth trying - such a cool thing to witness. It's easy to see why ancient people got freaked out by events like these.

I've had awesome skies for the last couple days, but the moon was semi-obscured by thin clouds last night. I hope I get to see some of it, dusting of the telescope.

At this point they aren't expecting it to be visible at all. Nothing but gray sky. We'll see what happens.

Our clouds have mysteriously disappeared! I don't know if I'll get to see the eclipse at peak, but it has started.

Great shot jb, I was able to watch the entire show, even with all the street lights around the camera did a good job.

Got to see it all the way to peak! We really got lucky. Glad the cloud cover moved out. In fact, just after peak eclipse, the clouds moved back in.

Wow, beautiful evening to enjoy the eclipse by your pond......you're so lucky! We saw it for awhile, then the clouds rolled in.
