The State of Fl should invest in a few baby koi to control the spread - mine eat the WH in a day or two. :) Can't keep them in the pond. And I do love them so much.

If you have neighbours which may be inclined to be snippy, life would be a lot more relaxed to consider umpteen other hundreds of very attractive, useful aquatic plants for an ornamental pond. Night bloom tropical waterlilies are a humdinger, great surface coverage, moderate water temps, superb heat tolerance. Real perty after dark with an led light set beside them, when the heat of the day makes visiting a pond an ordeal
