I've got the bog going now, the water is reaching the right height ain't coming out at the waterfall but now my pond will not keep the water level up in the pond. I've had to fill it up every day now. It's not real low it's just not as high as it used to be

Look for wet spots outside the pond.
Turn the pump off and see if the water loss continues, if it does wait and see where it stops,
then start looking for leaks right at the water line.
