i have a water lily in my pot . i m at my grandma's home for a couple of days. day before yesterday i went home and saw that my water lily's first flower had bloomed . it bloomed yesterday for the first time . yesterday i went back to check and saw that it hadn't bloomed it didn't bloom even today . is something wrong with the plant because i have read that they bloom for two to three days.

depends on what kind of water lily it is, some only last a day, some can last up to 5 days. Also note the time it was viewed open. day bloomers can start oening at daybreak and may close at noon all the way to staying open until dusk. Night bloomers start opening at sun set and close shortly after sunset. Knowing when you saw it open last might help to know when to go view the lily to see if it is blooming again.

Waterlilies bloom for 3 or 4 days, for a few hours around midday.
Blooming habits can vary with the variety and the kind of weather at the time
Could be you looked at the lily before, or after it had opened that day. They do open and close each day
