I'm trying to ID this water lily. It's on a 12" plant shelf and seems to like that depth. It also appears to be a very aggressive growing lily. I planted it late last fall and already have 3 new "sprouts" this year that likely need to be divided soon. I did take a picture with a penny on the leaf for size reference so hopefully that helps as well. If I can answer any other questions to help with the ID please just ask. Thank you!

I think the St Louis one is too big, but really cool looking... I don't regret you sharing it :)

I purchased a Helvola lily, but the flower is taller, growth rate is faster, Flower and leaves are bigger, and leaves are more solid green then what I would have expected from Helvola. I'm thinking it might actually be a dwarf Mexicana, maybe??? Or maybe it is a Helvola???

Helvola has mottled pads so I would rule it out. I would guess Mexicana too.
Beautiful. I think I need this one
