alright i have made 3 waterfall weirs..for those who are building stock tank filters or filters that with a flat surface for mounting... these are all made of 1/2" polyethylene structural foam just like the rubbermade stocktanks...
$25.00 each includes shipping....you will need a good silicone sealer and some stainless hardware for mounting
pic #1... inside weir dimensions about 9" wide and 9" L (out) side walls are 1&1/2" tapered to about 1/2" at edge...outside or mounting dimensions are 12" total heigth with bottom mount plate is about 3&1/2" ( sanded surface like mine)
pic #2 ...inside weir dimensions are 9" wide...6&1/4" L (out)... 1&1/2"side walls ... outside or mounting dimensions 13" wide X heigth 3" (sanded finish like mine)
pic #3 ...same as pic#1 but smooth finish
pic #4... shows back (mounting side) veiw..
P.M me if you have questions, i will give my cell # if you like and we can talk instead.(so much easier to ask and answer that way)

Ya, I had to buy the plastic gun and material to make mine so this is a steel. It was a good learning experience for me, I just wish I had ordered the black HDPE not the white, but im sure will be green over time anyways...

I will be in the market for one of these very soon. Just haven't gotten my tank yet - still trying to decide on 100 gallon or 70 gallon.

70 gal stock tanks are no longer manufactured by rubbermade but some stores still have them in stock...just let me know if you want a special size..go at least 100 gph flow per inch of weir width. this pic is 1200 gals on a 10" weir. the top stone removed to show weir and extension (extensions are not neccessarally needed)

they seem to do the job quite nicely, without a doubt...and your not gonna get a S.S one for anywhere near this price... i may be able to get them cheap because my uncle owns Quality Stainless Manufacturing... but ive never asked him.
