What a difference the filter makes!

I finally broke down and turned on the pond pump, sending the water through my bog filter. What a difference less than 24 hours has made.

The water, looking down, did not look that bad, but with the camera you could see the cloudiness getting worse.


Here is before the filter was turned on.



Less than 24 hours later



The far side of the pond is showing again and the bog waterfall reflection.

Really cleared it up good addy and can see the fish just fine now! That's great that you get to have it running so early this year. Fish will thank you by spawning like crazy now!

I had both videos running at the same time. Looks like you will need to move your camera! They are no longer hanging out ... they are movers and shakers, venturing out and about the pond. Looks wonderful! VERY clear!

We love watching them, I end up watching the pond screen a lot more than I watch the tv below it.

Spring is here! sitting here watching the fish, see a frog swim up from the bottom of the pond, it broke hibernation.
