What are these slimy flat orange things stuck to pond and lillies

Hi there, I have had my pond for a few years now and only just noticed these strange things. They are stuck to lillies and the filter they are slimy orange and round. What are they???

Hmm, I have lily pads and I've never seen those things before. What do they taste like? I don't think those are snail eggs because these are snail eggs:

And apparently the French eat them. They're called snail egg caviar. As a person who has eaten snails, frogs, and plenty of fish eggs, I'm not surprised they're edible.

definitely have the appearance of snail eggs. If you don't want a ton of snails, you can remove the eggs. Snails breed worse than rabbits so I tend to always remove the eggs I find, knowing there are many more eggs I will never find.
