What brand skimmer do you like?

My first choice is an intake bay. But if I can not do that, what skimmer do you recommend I use or avoid using? Pics welcome.

I really like my Helix. The fish swim in and out safely, which is a plus. It's the only one I've used, though, so I have nothing to compare it to. I will be doing a wildlife pond out back and I plan to use an intake bay back there!

i second the helix but you do need to be careful how much suction there is the fish can get stuck at the very thin gap of the suction weir
