I know exactly the one you are talking about. It's made for air pumps like my Dolphin AV-50 with a 3/4" inlet. Your pump will not have the capacity for this and it's got a lot of power when you do use it and really get water roiling. I looked at it this past spring and deemed it way too large. The company that makes 'em is really a commercial aquatic supply place. It would be fitting in a very large pond--probably 8k gallons+.
Again, RDK, wish you would have asked us about this BEFORE you purchased it. I smell another return (and hopefully not another restocking fee issue). We're here to help you, but you continually ask us about these items AFTER you've bought it. We could be saving you some grief (and probably money)/.
You just need a pair of regular disk airstones if you're looking to go round so you can set it on top of your retro drain for example. Petsmart has ones that are 5" and they are cheap like $6 or so. Since they are made of stone, they tend to clog pretty quickly and you need to scrub 'em every month with a wire brush. Those made out of ceramic or rubber tend to not clog as easily, but are more expensive. They are longer lasting tho. These are definitely preferred.
