I have a security camera on the pond but my son has to pull it up . I don't want to erase it . Knowing me I would hit the wrong button
I hear you. I have a couple of trail cams but I have a hard time keeping them going.

my neighbor said it looked like a baby bear cub print . I asked him to look at it when I was out mowing . To me it does not look like a bear cub print . I was thinking maybe a fox . BUT that sure doesn't make it any better
sunny here but hot and they keep saying we will get a rain storm but so far nothing . I mowed almost the whole front yard and mowed both side yards AGAIN cakeatron my last name is murphy so the old saying goes with that name IF ANYTHING CAN GO WRONG IT WILL . I went down to the basement and what do I see but paw prints across the brigde over the pond GEEZE What next . Darn dogs and no leash law in farming country sure not mmy cats paw print as they are way to big . Those are deck boards so that you can see how big the prints are
I am thinking maybe coyote?

Dirty.

Did a bog purge, 5 wagons of plants removed. Turned the pond brown. Already clearing up.

My white pants! Took three hours. Also removed a huge clump of iris and grasses. About 3x3 feet. Got close to 90f but I was nice and wet.

This is after, I did a hard purge. The yellow flag will be cut back in the fall. View attachment 168857
What a lot of work! I cut back a big clump of my iris. The blades/leaves were all sad and floppy, so I chopped it all down. I hope I didn't kill it by doing it at the wrong time of the year. It is a black gamecock iris. I thought it would stimulate new growth and might make it pull more nutrients out of the water.

Lol I chop mine when I get around to it. The bog / pond plants don't care. Recover quickly.
