OK, I cheated a tiny bit on Strands. I needed a 'tip' to get me started (the tip shows the first letter in one of the words & the direction it goes) After I got that one, though, the rest of it fell into place.

I was going nowhere fast, as well ... totally on the wrong track. Finally relented and used a hint.

I definitely had enough wrong word guesses to qualify for a hint, but decided to use one of their little 'tips' and see if I could get going with just that. It was a tough one, today (IMO)

I've done similar, and have no good excuse because I always have my coffee before sitting down to the computer. I'll just blame it on old age!
