Lily leaves not holding up is usually a nutrient deficiency. Get some lily tabs and follow directions.

So did a water test and found a little stressed and acidic. Changed out 25 percent water added some declorinator and bacteria. Will re test in a couple days. We do have Lilly tabs we put in.

I don't worry about leaf damage, they grow so many leaves, pluck off the damaged ones if they bother you.

I would need to count them, think 10ish maybe more, some are small starts. Each in a walmart oil pan with kitty litter.

They are way behind on blooming, usually by now every lily is blooming.

Addy, should I expect to get any blooms on my water lilies the first year? I have fertilized with planting and they putting up lots of leaves. Just no blooms yet.

It depends sometimes on how big was the tuber, if it was small it will take some time to get going. I had a one inch tuber (bought lily on line) by the mid summer it was blooming.
When I groom mine hard it takes them time to get going again.
