What is the pink bump on my Koi

About 2 months ago I noticed a pink lump on my white koi. It has grown very slowly to the size shown in the attached photos.

Can anyone tell me what this is and how to treat it?

Please post a introduction in the introduction thread, tell us more about your set-up where you liuve the size pond you have etc. The figure out how to post a pic on the site and I'll be happy to try and see what your talking about.
