What is this? Milfoil?

Please help me identify what this is and how to remedy it. It’s more like a furry plant.

I'd have to agree I don't see too much in the way of branching plants like milfoil. Milfoil looks like palm trees heads over and over and over

It’s crazy because it’s attached to the rocks. Any chance this could be good stuff that I should just leave alone?

I'd leave it and keep an eye on it. If it's just carpet algae which does not get super long it is actually good for the pond and fish like to nibble on it.
