What is this?

I've made a small little pond in my garden with a couple of plants. I have found this 1cm long jelly which at first looked as if it had lines in, but upon closer inspection they looked like tiny eggs. What could this been. It is attached underwater to plants.

Thanks everyone! I found another as well! I don't mind any sort of creatures! I have literally built a tiny pond just to attract some wildlife. I got the idea from some nation trust activity. I bought some plants from the local garden centre so I guess they'll come from there. Any idea what snails it could be?

hi, there are quite a lot of types of snail in the uk wait until they hatch then you can see what you have.cheers mark
