After a rain that washed a pollen storm off the neighborhood, I welcome sun! Nature trully does clean itself well (and leaves the rest of us to clean our unnatural creations , lol)

Our weather looks PERFECT for at least the next few days. 60s and 70's, and sunny! Of course, I have a camping trip coming up soon, so I expect this nice weather to last right up until the day I leave, and then it'll storm for three days straight, I'm sure!

WET I am beginning to sound like JW .Have to ask on here since I trust your opinions .Deck stains for the 2 new decks .I am in conflict Behr weatherproofing stain 152 dollars for 5 gallons or olympic maximum 5 gallon 152 a gallon also and both have 40 dollar rebates Samples at home depot are on pressure treated wood and the ones at lowes are samples on some type of stuff that is 2 inch's high and no clue what kind of wood .I will have to get pics of there samples .But all 3 are from home depot.I am thinking of semi transparent in either naturel or cedar

I kinda like the Redwood transparent but then I don't live there you do. Never used them before. I remember Behr had problems w/some kind of paint or stain years ago.

I have been reading all the the bad and good .I did use olympic on my shed and carport in solid and on my deck rails .I sanded them first and took dust off but notice peeling spots in some areas .It did great on the vertical surfaces but solid did not do so good on flat surfaces .But it did great on the bridge over the pond .

Get the nice red colored one. I just love my red stain, it always looks warm and inviting!
