Definitely sad to hear what is happening over there. As long as they are doing the fireworks in a safe place with fire personnel on standby, everything should be just fine. We had to go through similar precautions here a few years ago when we were in a severe drought. Some firework shows were cancelled, but many continued on.been in the 60's here .I just saw on the weather channel that Australia is already in the new year and setting off fireworks ,not sure that is a good idea with the fire threat and the heat they are having .I can understand it is a tradition but is it really worth the threat .
