snow but it is melting fast .No plow yet but the cars have left large tracks that are melting fast

Nothing melting here, 29f The snow that fell over the weekend has a nice ice cover on it.

In the North West of England it been warmer than normal today, pond temp 8C, outside temp is warm out of the wind but very cold wind chill. In my conservatory its been a tropical 27C very warm. Been in the garden most of the day getting ready to plant veggies, my face and hand very cold but suns quite warm out of the wind. Come on summer

Well the good news is the snow has stopped! The bad news is this stuff will likely be around through the end of March, unless we eventually get a nice long stretch of 40°s. It's 14°F today. :cry:

Because you like to have open water for your pond during the winter, you'll have frost develop above the pond on the part of the greenhouse where the greenhouse wall meets the outside air.
The evaporating pond water will create that frost.
Yes that is right, but hot fan heater would keep moisture down I Think.

Sun has been out and a lot of it melted it says it is 44 degrees out but it feels warmer than that

We have two more butt cold nights coming up. 4f then 8f then a slow climb up to the 20's at night.

The pond just dropped to 38F (bottom temp) ..... 3.3c We still have some really cold nights coming up.

By monday here it says we are getting back up to the 60's again .Sun is out and snow is melting as fast as it came down .
