Reading the 'What are you doing today' thread made me wonder who's driving the oldest car (not storing it), how old and how many miles? But even if you have something new that is your main ride, care to share make, age and mileage?

Me; 1992 Buick Park Avenue with almost 127,000 miles on it. That's my 'main car' but I'm a landscaper, so have a new-ish truck for work (2010 with 30K miles).

both of my oldest 2001 explorers except 1 is a v8 and the other is a sport trac .v8 has 78 thousand miles and looked after going down the road and sport trac has 43 thousand at this point and a little over .I really thought it had more and started up 2017 escape before and it is at less than 340 miles and least I think that is what I saw .Did not pay to much attention .I figured since they have been sitting since wednesday it was time to start them up and move them so rust does not form on rotors .

Old ones! We have a 1984 Toyota Sunrader mini motorhome that we love to pieces, with about 150,000 on it. It's a wonderful rig for going to garage sales. Only 18' long, lots of space, a very narrow door, so we can't buy big things we have no room for, and, most important, we can drink all the coffee we want and we have a bathroom with us!

We also have a 1986 Toyota 4runner, 4 wheel drive, which is our winter vehicle. Also good for exploring back roads doing photography. It has a new motor and many other things, but has 286,000 miles on it. Both have 4 cylinder engines and are very easy to work on.

2015 Scion XB About 6k
2010 Toyota Yaris about 32k
2009 Toyota Tacoma access cab
About 50k
And a 1981 Toyota Starlet with over 400k miles. Original engine. But new timing chain.
I'm a mechanic and I find that Toyotas don't break and take up my free time.
And a couple of motorcycles. Some old. But all low miles.

When I met my wife she showed up for our second date in a Ford Probe. The radiator blew up in the parking lot of the restaurant.
The next time I saw her, she was in a Pontiac Fiero. The next day, it caught fire and burned to the ground.
After that, I figured she was meant for me.

Wait a minute there I think you each time it happened to her vehicle .Sounds like a bad omen to me .I own fords because I get such a great employee discount and so far have always had luck with them except for my Thunderbird .Almost brand new just over 1000 miles an hubby bought it for my birthday brand new .Champagne interior and exterior because he said I deserved it .I always got the hand me down vehicle when he got a new one .Son needed hubbies truck so hubby took my Tbird up to work at ford plant which was less then 10 minutes from my house if you hit the the red light on route 1 and first time he drove it and he blew the head gasket .Ford took the car back and I used the money to by my sport trac .I love it but it does eat gas .
