I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I noticed this caterpillar/worm on my groundcover around the pond. I have a lot of them eating it. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it? This groundcover is right up against the pond. The bug looks bluish/green.

Looks similar to the inchworms or canker worms we have here. They have completely stripped my watercress. I just pick them off and drop into the pond.

I have some feasting on my water hyacinths also, except they are black caterpillars with a yellow stripe down the side. They are damaging little buggers and for some reason the fish don't seem interested in eating them.

Thanks, yes they were canker worms,. I bought Garden Safe caterpillar/worm killer. It said it is safe for humans and pets. I hope fish are in their category of pets cause it is by the pond. Last time I looked, they were all dead.
