Internet searches keep bringing me to barley straw and bacteria... lol

I want to clean my LINER surface so I can apply a waterproofing to my newly installed bulkheads.
Apparently DAWN is safe for ducks but not for fish! ;)

Anyone know of a safe product to prep my liner?

Thanks so much,

Well, excellent responses!

So, I’m going to use a rubber sealer (Flex Seal Liquid)... should I use alcohol or peroxide? Or both? If so is one used before the other?

*I have also used alcohol prior to using a patch before with no issues.

When I built my pond, I used lacquer thinner to clean the seams. It evaporates quickly, and leaves no residue. (it's what I had on hand)
