What type of fish are these?

Back in 2014 we bought some pond plants, In may of 2015 we noticed 3 little baby black fish. We have several Koi and comets and a handful of goldfish. Nothing black. Well these little guys grew, believe it or not to 3 different sizes. We never could figure out how they ended up in our pond, they are not Koi. Could they have come in via a plant we bought? I attached a picture of the 2 smallest one, almost 6 years old

hi ursula, i have a koi that is very similar to yours mine has a line of orange on its underbelly.

they are not catfish, no whiskers, someone told me they are just carp, I always wondered how did they show up

Oh, sorry! I thought I saw whiskers! Hybrids, then? They are pretty — I like dark fish!

Those are some cool looking fish!
They are probably hybrids. Hybrids, from what I understand, are usually black.
I have some black ones and some that are almost a tinge toward brown, all born in the pond. I never bought any black fish. Some have a dark golden belly. I believe mine are hybrids, a cross between koi and goldfish.
Mine are only 1-2 seasons old, so they are not that large.
