My fish don't seem to like wheatgerm food. I am using a locally produced Penparc wheatgerm. Any ideas on the problem please

Do ypou have wheat germ with added garlic food Mike ?
If not try adding the extract of garlic to your pellets , the garlic helps stimulate the appitie and also protects your koi against parasites .
Whats the temperature of your pond now at Make ?

It *might* not be that they don't like it but that they are just slowing down on eating as the weather gets colder (my fish do this)
As Maria says the lower the temperature the less a koi will eat , you should normally stop feeding your koi at the 10c temperature range and no feed again until the temperature is above that of 10c again for a prolonged period of 2-3 weeks.
By now you should have given your pond a once over and cleared it of any detritusand should have also given your filters the once over so that your pond is fit and ready for the winter period ahead.
