It’s early spring and the pond is only up to 44 degrees. I had a floater a couple of days ago, a 4” comet goldfish; brought her in and put her in a ‘hospital tank’ - a two-gallon bucket with an aquarium aerator. She seemed to have swim bladder issues. After a couple of salt baths, some fasting and a couple of peas, she’s good to go.
Question is: her water in the house, in her hospital bucket, is 66 degrees. The pond is 44 at the surface this morning. The 2-gal bucket is too small for her for long, but how can I get her back into the pond safely?
