When you "edit" a message.....?

Just curious, but when you are in the process of editing a post, is that post visible during that time?

I just created a new post, but realized [twice] that I left something out -- that lead to 2 separate edits. Which made me wonder if anyone could have been viewing my OP while I was in the middle of making changes......

Yes, people can view the original post until you save your edit. I have a bad habit of editing my posts. I'll probably find a reason to edit this one.

@JBtheExplorer and @Ian Makes sense. So, basically you'd have 2 posts: the 1 that was being viewed [the OP], and the one that was in cyberspace [the one you were editing]. Then you "save," and the 2 become 1.
