Where do they hide?

I bought 4 fish yesterday and almost immediately, they were hidden. I haven't seen them at all today. My pond is fairly small--about 800 gallons. I do have a few plants, bit it has just started warming up here so nothing is really big yet. I have rock sides and I did see one small one head into a crevasse. How long can st hey stay hidden without coming out for food? Should I be concerned?

Give them a week or three. Is this a new pond ?

If there are no other fish, do not feed fish that will not eat. Just put a bit out to see if there are takers.

Yes, I just filled it 2 weeks ago. They are my only fish so far. I will wait.

They probably sneak out after dark, to forage for tidbits
