Where to place the Pump

I like to put mine at the opposite end/side from the waterfall. That way the water gets to “mix” from end to end, without any stagnant spots. I also don’t put it directly on the bottom. That way, if for some reason the pump manages to empty the pond, there will still be a little bit of water left and hopefully enough to keep the fish/plants wet.

Hiding the tube will be an issue lol
buy a bulked fitting and drill a hole just below the top edge. or grab some black spray paint and make it blend in.
add a couple 90 degree elbow so it hugs the top edge and drops down the side

I like the idea of painting it.
I was also thinking of just burying it in some dirt and growing some plants around the pond to hit the wire & tube
