New pond, no pond experience . . . just added some lily pads that I purchased at a local nursery, and today I saw a white worm or larvae on the leaves under the water eating holes in it. What is this, and should I be concerned there are others?
Could you post an image showing the white worms? Do you have fish in the pond or just the plants? Look along the water's edge and see if there are any worms present. Here is a link that may be useful:https://homeguides.sfgate.com/something-eating-killing-water-lily-90840.html
And, welcome to the forum!

I haven’t seen any more of these since I removed the one. I’m assuming it came on the lily pads that I bought. Doesn’t appear that they are being eaten by anything else. Thanks!
