Why thumbnails?

Another forum I visit uses the same file attachment format for replies that this forum does. But, when I upload a picture there it is entered in the post as a picture, and not as a thumbnail as in this forum. I was wondering why this is. The only difference I can see is in the size limitations.The other forum has these size restrictions."You can upload up to 99.87MB of files (Max. single file size: 2MB)"

I just use photo bucket and stick it on there big

Unfortunately it's a restriction of the particular forum software version we are using. However we are looking to upgrade the forums as soon as the right gallery software is available which will remedy the issue - watch this space!

That would be really nice. Wonder if that would mean we can just download our pix right from our computer files whenever the new upgrade happens?

Yep same here John but think they are wanting to make it so they can be put on here in a large size instead of having to click on them to enlarge them. When you add them on here from photo bucket they are put on as a large photo and not the tiny ones like from our computer files.
