Upon finishing my pond and bog my wife gave me some plants as a gift for the bog. They are from Lowe’s.

Lilium oriental mix
Lady fern
Caladium

If they will work in a gravel bog how deep do I plant them. If they won’t work in bog there is lots of room around pond where they could go.

Thanks

I have no clue. What I have done is try them out, if not expensive plants, see how they do.

per the net
The lilium is a bulb, it likes good drainage, may not do well in wet. I tried ferns did ok for a bit then sort of disappeared.
The caladium, related to the elephant ear, might do ok.

Thanks, Stuck them all in the bog. The bulbs with the top of green above water/gravel and the ferns buried. As you said we will see how they do.
