The snow/ice storm gave an opportunity to get some beautiful photos. After nine inches of snow it sleeted all night. Things are still frozen and possibly more coming.

Feel free to add any of your photos.

    I went camera crazy lol.

Very cool ice photos. Its always cool to see things laminated in ice. We got about 5" or 6" of snow here. I always enjoy the first snowfall, but I also always hope its the last.

She is 4.5 lbs right now, growing in height, not much weight. She was 4 lbs when we got her at 4 months.

Nice frozen pix addy! We are starting to get a few tiny flakes falling here now. Missy got her hair frosted up,quite the nice look and she could get lost in that white stuff if it gets much deeper :cheerful:

Nice pictures Addy, looks really icy. We got a little more snow today and it's still coming down very lightly. Suppose to get another 1 to 2 inches tonight. Still won't come close to the snow you have, one happy note for you yours won't last as long as mine.

    Nice pictures Addy and JB!

Addy what are the type of berries in the first couple of pictures. Neat color, Love how they are encased in a bubble of ice.

Our snow usually melts within a few days of falling. Just the year 2009 it fell and stayed, one storm after another hit until we had over 60 inches total for the year.
I had flown to phoenix to toss out my friend that was renting my house, (no rent paid for months) got stuck there on 12/19 the prediction of 1-4 inches ended up being 20.

It is called nandina heavenly bamboo, stays green here year round, red berries all winter. Real pretty against the snow. I picked them up at costco for around 13 bucks a plant, they sale plants for around 3 months every spring. I have some shoots coming up if you want a few free small plants.

The purple berries are on issal beautyberry, the plant loses its leaves but is covered with purple berries the cardinals love to eat.

Tm she got a nice warm hair dryer and towel rub down. The snow had clumped in her hair.
