I need some info on how to winterize my water hyacinth. Also does anyone know how to ensure they do not take over your pond. I had to remove a good size trash can full.

Most just buy new ones. They are cheap and grow fast.
The only way to control them is to remove and or put a rope around them to keep them in one spot.
