Some sort of nymph most possibly a dragon fly larval stage .
They can be dangerous to small fish in that they will catch and eat them personally I'd catch it and get rid of it .

I recognize larvae. Very soon it will develop into a creature that grow exponentially. The resulting massive beast shall run rampant destroying everything and eating everyone insight. The monster is a Livagatston. It was created from the essence of fish and chip residue mixed with cheap stout. The only way to kill the beast is to spray it with heavy streams of well aged double malt. :ROFLMAO:

I allow that horrid beast to snack on what they can catch in their slimy little paws.

Thanks for the link, have saved it. Have taken a look and damselfly it could be though it has 3 things at its head! Not seen it again. Have 7 baby fish, they about an inch long now and have placed rocks on a shelve which they hide!
