My pond is a little over 1000 gal, firestone rubber liner, very satisfied with it.
My wondering, has any of you ever used a preformed concrete septic tank as a pond? It should be water proof; they come in a variety of sizes, have good depth to surface area ratio, and ought to last forever. I would think it could be buried to ground level or set on the ground or set at whatever level might be desired. Yes, it would need to be filled and let set to neutralize the effect of the green/uncured concrete before adding fish, etc. So? ?????????:regular_waving_emot:confused:
I hope I never need to put in another pond but I think I see a lot of advantages in something like this. Have no idea of cost.

Have never done that, but why not! They come in different sizes too. But you would need to cut the top off, most are a box with just access holes.

don't see why not.............easier to cut then concrete.

I found ours when digging the pond, solid concrete with two openings.
