I wish I could take credit for this idea, but got it off the internet ... Although I did modify it a little, added legs to it so when the Koi knock it around it stays put..... Works very well, put it in before I feed my Koi, when they get finished I store it away in my skimmer compartment..... Using 1" pvc it's heavy enough, with the legs and with the flow of the water when the Koi knock it around it stays in place So I am happy that food is not getting into my filter, and Sarah is happy that nothing is laying around the pond.
