Y-Distributor

Hi All,

I have a new pond under construction and have already selected a Bioforce-Revolution 14000 filter in combination with an Aquaforce 8000 pump, the filter is pressurised so I am hoping I will have enough output pressure to drive a small water chute (diameter undecided at this point) and a single Tangential Jet return to get some water rotation.

in order to drive both of the above I am considering the following Oase Y-distributor which would need to be situated out of the water however I see that they specify that it should be used in water only. Can anyone shed any light on why this is?

I think that is a mistake on the website you have a link to. On the Oase site it does not state that at all. It should be designed for above and below water if you choose.

Thanks, that’s interesting. I should have checked as it didn’t make much sense.
