Hi Folks,
I lost my bog filter due to a massive leak in a breakdown in the structure. Made me think of a need for a more permanent solution. My idea is to build a raised pond and have it overflow in a large even waterfall across the back and cascade down the rocks as they are now.
But I've never built a raised pond before. I have the dimensions. 5x9x2. I was thinking about using haidite blocks for the sides and use a pond liner but I dont know if haidite blocks alone can withstand the water pressure from the sides. I've not done much in mortaring so any advice would be appreciated.
