Hi everyone, I have a loft tank I'd like to turn into a small pond. I would like a few fish but know tank needs work first.
Cleaning the tank should be fine, although advice welcome! I'm thinking of putting a pond liner inside of it. It's not huge, maybe 24"x 30" but it is approx 24" deep.
Could anyone tell me how to prep the tank and fit the liner properly please?
Instructions/videos I've found aren't applicable to tanks, how can I ensure its safe enough for fish please?

Hello and welcome! What is a “loft tank”? If you could post some pics, that might be helpful. It’s hard to give advice without seeing what you are talking about.

I would think that as long as you use a good quality liner, the tank itself shouldn’t be a problem for the fish. Be sure there are no sharp edges. Again, pics would be helpful.

if THE WELDS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE ID THINK ABOUT A GOOD CLEANING AND A primer and WATERPROFF PAINT

A liner will make some serious folds in a vat that size
