I found some discarded aluminum rain gutters in our apartment’s dumpster and decided to repurpose them as border planters for the back edge of the pond to help conceal the liner. The gutters themselves are lined with some of the pond liner trimmed when building the pond. There’s a layer of gravel underneath the potting soil and an irrigation line running into that to water this bed. Currently I have Creeping Jenny planted. I plan to add some more plants to this as I can afford it.
