Hi everyone. We have a small backyard pond. I am wondering what type of algae eating fish are ok with cold water. What fish do you put in your ponds to help against algae control that can take colder water. I have ready articles on people using butterfly/hillstream loaches and also dojos. I know that common plecos cannot take the cooler temps. Thank you for any help or advice.

The only algae eater that survives the cold is the Chinese High Fin Shark. I was looking at them today for $25 each in a Koi store.
