Hi, I moved into my house at the end of august last year (Hampshire, UK), it had an established pond, not huge but it did have frogs.
When I cleaned it out at the end of September, the frogs had gone. I don’t know where or how, as it’s a completely enclosed garden with a brick wall on one side and wooden fencing on all the others.
iI’d like to have frogs back; can I just go get some frogspawn or tadpoles from a local pond? Right now I don’t have any fish because the b*#&£rd heron swooped down and ate them all last week.
Appreciate any advice! Thanks

If UK frogs are anything like US frogs I think they find you whether you like it or not.
As for the heron, yep they are persistent. Some have foiled them with nets and others have reduced their flight path enough to discourage them. But once they find a fishy buffet, they never seem to forget it.
Also, welcome!
