Hi - we inherited a home-dug pond which had been drained and filled in with rubble (for safety I think)
It took us a while to get around to clearing it out, re-lining it, filling and stiocking it, and since then it's always looked rather murky

Thanks all for your welcomes - I'm going to get a test kit now so I can give you the full pic of our pond. I fear it might be beyond help :(

Never beyond But maybe more work then you believe worth the effort. but once you have a pond you will never be without again.
