Wow, your flowers are unbelievably gorgeous. And, have to say, your pics of the tiger swallowtail are outstanding!!!! That's one gorgeous butterfly, too, very perfect. The other pretty butterfly is a Great Spangled Fritillary. :) I looked it up. LOL
I am waiting to see my first hummingbird moth, but don't believe I've ever seen one as vivid as the one your photographed. Thanks for sharing your great photos!

It is like they just appeared, I saw one or two, then they now have been showing up in threes or fours. Really flitting quickly around the yard and flowers. They are as fast if not faster than hummingbirds.

They are my favorite, too, JB. When I was kid, I caught butterflies and learned to mount them. My mom framed the 4 nicest and largest of my butterflies and gave it to me when I was an adult. (I'm sure she tossed the rest, they were probably no good anymore.) But, it took me a long time to finally catch a Tiger! Here's the frame. There is a Tiger Swallowtail, Black Swallowtail, Monarch, and Mourning Cloak. I never see a Mourning Cloak either, so that was another treasure. As you can see, they are fading, but I still enjoy seeing them. :)

The wanvisa is blooming beautifully this year. It took a few years to get going, I bought it as a one inch tuber years ago Now it is pushing up 3-4 buds every few days.

Love the colors of this lily, well love all of them but this one is so unique.

Honey wants me to build a lily pond, but I don't want to, have enough flowing water.
